Ballerina Inspired Style

Ballet fashion is seriously en pointe right now. I love how effortlessly chic this style is. Ballerinas are a beautiful mix of strength, femininity and beauty.

Witchery have released pieces with a nod to ballerina-in-training look. These items are sleek and classy and can be worn for both casually and for a more polished look. The Ballet Neck Rib Tee is a pretty staple that has longer sleeves are a scoop back. The Cross Shoulder Top in black and grey show off the collar bone and a hint of decolletage, it is both sexy and sophisticated.

Channel a ballerina with a full skirt from Review. Review is an amazing Australian brand that has featured heavily on this blog. They offer pretty pieces with a retro twist. The Lady Luck skirt would like divine with the Witchery tops or a leotard. I also can’t go past the Save the Date dress which also features a full skit in blush and stunning rose gold sequins. Review have a selection of full skirts each season for elegant ballet style.

I have also found ballet inspiration in a pair of cream Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers. I simply removed the laces and replaced them with pale pink satin ribbons. I also used clear nail polish to seal the ends and stop them from fraying.
